I attended the September 2009 Multivariate Data Analysis School in Montreal. This is one of the most well-structured courses I have taken so far! The instructor was very helpful in analysing our own data sets using the statistical package of our choice. I know now which method to use for different kinds of data and to answer different kinds of questions. And most importantly, I know HOW to use them, thanks to the hands-on sessions!

“This was a great class! I was moderately familiar with many of the multivariate techniques covered in the course when I arrived- I knew just enough to be dangerous. I now feel like I have a strong foundation and firm grasp of the presented statistical techniques and their appropriate applications. I am definitely ‘less dangerous’ now. The course progressed in a logical manner and made good use of relevant datasets and examples. It was also really great to weave our own datasets into the course. In this way I feel like I gained a great deal of useful knowledge and advanced my research at the same time. I was very satisfied with the class- money well spent! “

Of the many statistics short courses I have taken over the years, this class was by far the best - with a top knotch instructor and excellent material. 1) The instructor was wonderful.....extremely knowledgable in all areas of multivariate statistics, and able to effective communicate to non-statisticians. She was patient and available for any and all questions from the students, before and after class. 2) The class structure was just what I was looking for.....plenty of relevant data sets and time to conduct analysis on our own data. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn more about using multivariate statistics.

Had the opportunity to attend the Multivariate Data Analysis training in Montreal from September 14 to 18, 2009. The depth and breadth of the instructor's knowledge and industry experience in applied statistics combined with her passion for teaching made this a great learning experience. The course was extremely well organized, reasonably paced and suitable for participants with limited statistical background. Had the opportunity to to try and compare different statistical software packages. Also met some great people from different parts of the world! Highly recommend this course to anyone interested in Multivariate Data Analysis.

I found the Multivariate Summer School, which was held in San Francisco in January this year, very useful. For those who have very limited knowledge on the Multivariate statistics are recommended to take this course. Also, I recommend all scientists and the students, who often deal with a bundle of data sets, to consider this course. The course was extremely well organized and reasonably paced. I appreciate the instructors for their way of teaching, specially to those appeared with non-statistics background.

I truly enjoyed the multivariate data analysis course that I took in San Francisco. The instructor was very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching statistics and multivariate analysis. I came into the course with a very limited idea on what multivariate data analysis could do, and came away with a comprehensive understanding of the material. I especially liked that the course was very interactive and hands on, with the students encouraged to use data from their work and apply the concepts that we'd learned on them. I also liked that we were exposed to a variety of software packages to perform the analyses and get an idea of what each package had to offer. I would strongly recommend anyone interested in learning multivariate data analysis to try this course out.

J'ai suivi les formations sur l'introduction à la planification d'expériences et sur les outils essentiels de la statistique. Je les recommande fortement. Même si, en tant que chercheur scientifique, j'e travaille depuis 25 ans avec différents outils statistiques, ces cours me permettront dorénavant de travailler d'une façon beaucoup mieux structurée.

I had the pleasure to attend the June 16-20, 2008 Multivariate statistics course. This course was very well taught. This class has a good mixture of the basic theory and adequate time to apply each multivariate method. The highlight of this class is that each multivariate tool is built as an extension of the other. This allows the student to develop fluency in the use of these tools. All the examples used are based are real data and insightful. I had a great time learning in this class and the five days seemed like three. I would recommend this class to all Six Sigma professionals to enhance their Stat too box

Over-all the course was great. The teacher was very thorough in all aspects of the class. The class was well taught, the teacher asked questions to make sure we all understood, got class participation and incorporated in real examples from each participant.
